If you have a documented disability that requires academic accommodations, and have not arranged accommodations with the Deans for Student Affairs, please do so immediately.
The official College of Medicine student disability policy is below:
Accepted or enrolled students who believe that they need special accommodation because of disability must provide documentation of the nature of the disability to the Office of Medical Education. Upon verification of the type and severity of the disability, the College will attempt to meet the unique needs of the individual by undertaking appropriate accommodations to the learning environment. Technical standards and progress and promotion policies must still be met by all students enrolled in the medical program.
NOTICE: The information above is based on university disability policy. If you require an official copy of relavent policies, please contact the University of Kentucky Dean of Students Office.
